1. Measurements
   1. Length of horn. The length of the horn is measured along the outside curve from the base of the horn to its extremity.
   2. Circumference of horn: These are measured in the first third (1.2.), in the second third (1.3.) and at two-third distance from base (1.4.). Measurements to be taken at the thickest place in these regions.
   3. Circumference of horn: These are measured in the first third (1.2.), in the second third (1.3.) and at two-third distance from base (1.4.). Measurements to be taken at the thickest place in these regions.
   4. Circumference of horn: These are measured in the first third (1.2.), in the second third (1.3.) and at two-third distance from base (1.4.). Measurements to be taken at the thickest place in these regions.
   5. Spread. The spread is taken at the greatest width of the horns, whether across the body of the horn or from tip to tip, which ever is the greater.
2. Beauty and Penalty Points
   1. Beauty Points
      1. Colour:

         Light coloured ---- 1 points
         brown ---- 2 points
         black ---- 3 points

      2. Annular rings:

         weak ---- 1 point
         average ---- 2 points
         well serrated ---- 3 points

      3. Curve of horn: According to the degree of twist along the length of the horn, 0-5 points can be awarded.
         
   2. Penalty Deduction: From 0 to 5 points can be deducted for the following defects: Horns with a tendency to curl into the body of the animal, unsymmetrical horns, hors too serrated or too open, i.e. tops too wide.
