Supplementary Data
Number of tines: To be counted as a tine a projection must be at least 1,0 cm long and its length must exceed the length of its base.
Tip to tip: Measure distance between tips of each antler.
Greatest spread: Measurement to be taken at right angles to the centre line of the skull at widest part, whether across main beams or points.
Score Data
Inside span: Measurement to be taken at right angles to the centre line of the skull at widest point between main beams. This figure will be entered as a credit in column 1.
Length of main beam (antler): Measure along outside of antler from the base of the coronet to the tip. Enter measurements in columns 2 and 3, and any difference between the measurements, in column 4.
Length of brow tine: Measure from upper edge of coronet along the underside of the tine to its extremity. Enter measurements in columns 2 and 3, and any difference between measurements, in column 4.
Circumference of coronet: Measure circumference of each coronet and enter measurements in columns 2 and 3. Any difference between these measurements will be entered in column 4.
Circumference of beam: Measure circumference of beam at mid-distance up each beam, (2) i.e. at a point which should be half the length measurement. Enter measurements in columns 2 and 3, and any difference between these measurements will be entered in column 4.
